Add the Daffodils! Bunnies – Missing Numbers! Colour in & Count – Easter! Just some of the activities in our Counting and Colour in & Count sections that make maths fun for your little ones. Our Shapes, Spot the Difference, Telling the Time sections also support children’s numeracy.

Visit our Nursery Rhyme section and sing along to just about every traditional rhyme with nursery and preschool little ones! For centuries, we have used song and rhyme to help tell stories. Because it’s fun! And a hidden benefit is developing little ones’ language and memory.

iChild has many, many more sections for you to discover and enjoy with your child. We’ve outlined just some of them. Quality parent-child time is one of the most important factors to aid children’s growth and development. And – of course – all iChild resources are great fun!

Captivating Classrooms (also within your Raring2go! exclusive offer)

Many of our teacher members told us they would welcome further resources to support teaching in some under-supported subjects. So Captivating Classrooms, iChild’s educational service, was born!

Captivating Classrooms provides high-quality teaching resources to enhance classroom engagement and help implement a rich, diverse curriculum, with subjects from Black British History to Climate Change to Evolution and Inheritance.

We partnered with experts: the Geographical Association, the National Association for the Teaching of English, Professor David Olusoga, scientist and award-winning children’s author, Dr Mandy Hartley, and others. Captivating Classrooms offers teachers impactful resources, which bring expertly-crafted, informative lessons to life with beautiful imagery and exciting animations.

Here’s some recent feedback from a Year 5 Teacher

“The Captivating Classrooms resources save us valuable time in preparing lesson content.  … With Captivating Classrooms, the high quality content with photographs and animations is already  provided, and divided up into lessons, which is so helpful. … The resources provide awe and wonder for the children and create real excitement and engagement. The resources free teachers up to do more organisation for experiments … which in turn helps attainment. … We love how everything is set out and it fits so well into the curriculum.”

More feedback on one of our Black British History resources:

iChild provided high quality resources to enhance our learning about the Tudor period. I liked that there was a clear focus on historical enquiry and history specific skills and ideas, such as continuity and change, outlined in the planning. The activities allowed for rigorous analysis and practise of skills, rather than just providing narrative content. These resources provided good development for me as a teacher to support our work towards widening our pupils’ historical and geographical perspective by looking beyond the typical narrative of the big personalities of the Tudor monarchs. These resources allowed us to extend our understanding globally by linking with Africa and African people and engaged the children in a meaningful way.”
