The Dan Tien Performing Arts Studios, the home of singing, acting, dance & music lessons in Watford since 2009, are delighted to have been named Gold Winners in the Creative & Entertainment Organisation ofthe Year category in the Chamber of Conscience SME Hertfordshire Business Awards 2022. The business awards set out to celebrate the very best achievements of Hertfordshire based small and medium sized businesses and are judged by top business people around the county.

The Dan Tien, a non-profit organisation which is run by family members Lindsey Ansell and Amy and Nick Lazzerini are based at the Harebreaks Community Hub in Watford. They have built a solid reputation as one of the leading performing arts schools in the region with over 400 children attending classes each week.

The Watford Chamber of Conscience, who were sponsors of this award said, “We would like to congratulate the whole team at The Dan Tien Performing Arts Studios for winning the “Gold Creative and Entertainment Organisation of the Year award “at the SME Hertfordshire Business Awards 2022. These awards are a remarkable way to recognise the hard work, dedication and passion for engaging our young people and community through the outstanding business they have created.  They are a credit to Hertfordshire and have achieved amazing results this year. The work that they do for the local community is unmatched and these awards have helped to spotlight them for their incredible contribution.”

Our team has worked incredibly hard over the last few years to give as many children and young people as possible the chance to experience the life changing power of the performing arts and I am delighted that their hard work has been recognised.”

From ballet to jazz, musical theatre to street dance, The Dan Tien offers a huge choice of classes for children and young people aged 3 – 18. Alongside this, their stand alone music department offers one to one music tuition in a range of instruments. And it’s all conveniently housed under one roof!
