Farmarama at the National Forest Adventure Farm

There’s still time to visit the Festival of Fun at the National Forest Adventure Farm! Running until September 5th, Farmarama has something for all: navigate the maize maze, enjoy live shows, join the foam party, join the live Princess Sing-along and learn to swashbuckle at Pirate Training. See your heroes at our Mascot Meet and Greets and sparkle with glitter face paint. Get creative in the Craft Marquee and take a spin on the Tea Cup ride. ‘Flushed’ Family Trail at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum

Follow the pipes and head on a journey of discovery through the ‘Evolution of Toilets’ this Summer at the museum with this fun family trail! The trail is open daily during the museum opening hours. £2 per person (Accompanying adults not participating Free). The Trail runs from 10am to 3pm until September 1st. www.sharpespotterymuseum.org.uk

The Darley Park Weekender

The Darley Park Weekender will be taking over the beautiful natural amphitheatre of Darley Park as it returns for its second year. After last year’s success the event has grown to Fri-Sun event, with music, fireworks and activities for the whole family! Click here for times and running order.

Wistow Maze – Leicestershire’s Top Attraction

To mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Wistow Maze 2022 has been designed in the shape of the Coronation Crown. The giant 8 acre maize maze has a fun quiz trail hidden amongst its 3 miles of pathways, with high-level bridges and towers giving stunning panoramic views. With plenty of space, the maze offers great outdoor entertainment for young and old. Visitors can also take part in a variety of mini mazes and games in the Activity Funyard, which includes a space-hopper track, hoopla, beanbag throwing and a football shooting game. Across the road is the Wistow Rural Centre with its cafe, garden centre, model village, art gallery, wellbeing centre and numerous shops making it a great day out for all ages. Meet the Makers Craft Fair, Rosliston Forestry Centre
On all three days of the Bank Holiday weekend from 10am-4pm. Burton Road, Rosliston, DE12 8JX.
Tutbury Castle Fairytale Weekend
Come and meet the pirates and princesses, including many of your favourite Disney characters. There will be story-telling in the Great Hall, and the Fairy Godmother will be out and about with her wand, looking for wishes to grant. With fairground rides, face-painting, a range of stalls, and a range of hot and cold food available all day, we are open on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th, 11am to 5 pm, with last entry at 4pm. Tickets are £6.50 for adults and £6 for concessions (under-5s go free). Castle Road, DE13 9JF.

Peak District Highland Games, Matlock Farm Park
