Cheetahs - The world's fastest land mammal, the cheetah, has returned to the collection. View them from the new Bats Bridge!
Philippine Crocodiles - This freshwater crocodile, found only in the Philippine islands, is one of the most threatened crocodile species in the world. Their new enclosure is in the Tropical Realm.
For spectacular colour and a whole new sensory experience, visit the Butterfly Journey, home to up to 30 different species of exotic and native species.

The 110-acre Zoo is open all year from 10am daily (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Last entry and closing times vary with the seasons. Car parking is free. Restaurants, shops, monorail and summer time boat bus. Facilities for disabled visitors, including self-drive electric scooters and wheelchairs.

By car: From the M56, Junction 14 or M53 Junction 12, follow the brown tourist signs to Chester Zoo. The zoo is clearly signposted on the A41.

Now that we are in autumn everyone is looking for things to do with the kids to celebrate this lovely colourful season.
