William Hands Factory Tour & Talk
We are one of the few remaining furniture manufacturers left in the town. We have been producing furniture on our site here since 1906. We are a British designer and manufacturer of high-quality furniture. We have a passionate and skilled workforce who would love to chat to you about our furniture. Come and take a tour around our factory and hear a small talk about our history.

This tour is aimed at adults. Children over 10 are welcome with adult supervision.
Accessibility info: The factory is over 3 levels. With extremely steep stairs. It is not suitable for people with limited mobility, pushchairs, assistance dogs etc.

Direction From High Wycombe town centre; Desborough Road, onto Green Street, then onto Dashwood Avenue. William Hands are on the right-hand side, between the Green Street and Dashwood Avenue traffic lights.

This event is part of the Chilterns Chairs Festival, running through July in celebration of the unique chairmaking heritage of Wycombe and the local area. With a varied programme of events, you’ll learn how the industry grew from the local landscape into thriving furniture production which proudly continues today.
