Wild Winter Safari
West Midlands Safari Park is open Fridays–Sundays between 9 January to 13 February, for you to enjoy a Wild Winter Safari.
Enjoy a wintery escape to the Park during one of the calmest and most peaceful times of the year.
Winter Safari Days are the perfect opportunity to experience WMSP at a slower pace, with fewer crowds and more time to soak up everything the Park has to offer.
Enjoy all the usual WMSP experiences – from drive-through safaris and walk-through exhibits to daily animal talks and feeding encounters.
SAFARI DRIVE
Buckle up and explore our famous four-mile Safari Drive, filled with magnificent animals and unforgettable moments. Watch white rhino roam, see towering giraffe and come face-to-face with our incredible big cats – all from the warmth and comfort of your own vehicle.
Or add on a Safari Guided Tour and choose from a Safari Truck, Minibus or Jeep tour to give you a detailed guide in the Park’s residents. Read more here.
SAFARI WALK
Take time to explore the Park on foot and discover a range of walk-through habitats. Get closer to species including meerkats, lemurs and penguins, and enjoy the freedom to explore at your own pace.
The African Walking Trail offers open views of some of the Park’s most iconic animals, including white lions, elephants, giraffes and cheetah. A quieter time of year makes it ideal for unhurried walks and relaxed wildlife viewing.
