TP IN BLOOM: TRAFFORD PALAZZO ANNOUNCE FREE EVENTS TO CELEBRARE NATIONAL CHILDREN’S GARDENING WEEK
Shopping and leisure destination offers fun schedule of events from 25 – 31 May
This half term, Trafford Palazzo will host a garden-themed extravaganza to celebrate National Children’s Gardening Week as part of TP in Bloom. From Saturday 24 May to Sunday 1 June, the activities are free for everyone to attend and are designed to let little imaginations bloom whilst exploring the fun that gardening brings to children.
Little ones can get hands-on with a Garden Rock Art workshop session kicking off TP in Bloom on 24 May. The session will let kids paint and decorate garden stones using bright colours and fun designs. A Paint & Plant workshop will be taking place throughout half term, allowing families to decorate planters using tins, paper cups, biodegradable and terracotta pots, then plant seeds to take home and grow.
Elsewhere on the schedule of free events, families can take part in Egg Carton workshops, Fairy Garden workshops, as well as creating bird and butterfly feeders.
TP in Bloom will also host an exciting art installation for visitors to use as the perfect photo opportunity. Inspired by the statues at Trafford Palazzo, a local florist will create the installation made from flowers and greenery.
As well as free half-term events, families can explore Trafford Palazzo’s exciting range of family-friendly attractions and retailers. Home to popular brands such as LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre, SEA LIFE, Archie’s Atomics, King Pins and newly opened Sports Direct, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
