Star Project -Tale As Old As Time Easter Workshop in Barnt Green

Star Project -Tale As Old As Time Easter Workshop in Barnt Green

What can children expect from a Star Project workshop?
The Star Project delivers one dynamic musical theater workshop in every school holiday. These workshops give children the chance to attend a holiday camp and train in a rehearsal style setting towards a show on the final day to friends and family. Our workshops always take on an exciting musical theater theme of a popular show. In the past we have delivered workshops such as:

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Les Miserables
Peter Pan
Matilda
Oliver
Annie
Best of the West End
and many more.

This Easter it’s Tale As Old As Time!

Alongside becoming a cast member and auditioning for a role in the show, children also have the opportunity to join the backstage crew and learn about the technical side of the theatre. This includes lighting sound, props, set, costume and stage direction.

Children can expect to complete a Star Project workshop a different child than they were when they began. Full of confidence with new friends and an immense feeling of pride.

The format of our weeks usually consists of rehearsals at Barnt Green Parish Centre from 10am-4pm Monday to Thursday with the final day on Friday. Children rehearse from 12-3pm and then perform a matinee and evening show to parents friends and family.

It is a week that will leave memories on their hearts for the rest of their lives and children return again and again.
