Spring Trail at Arley Arboretum

Spring Trail at Arley Arboretum

We are very excited to be working with Sarah Stokes Artist, our artist in residence for our Spring Trail at Arley Arboretum.

This year we will be running a series of children’s trails that look at the Arboretum through the seasons. The spring trail includes Sarah’s beautiful, hand painted images of animals and birds, tangible links to nature in spring, and simple movement activities – all helping to keep the little ones engaged.

This promises to be a delightful trail to launch the new year!

Launching on Saturday 23rd March and continuing until June when the Trail will change to a Summer theme.

The Arboretum is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.

Whilst at the Arboretum you can also enjoy:
* Slack lines: Great for bigger kids of all ages, our slack line course always proves popular!
* Play area: Swing as high as the trees in our new nest swing; conquer the climbing tower castle, and balance on our log train and timber trail; if this isn’t enough tap out a tune on our tinkly percussion instruments.
* Maze: Great fun for all the family, how long will it take you to reach the middle and find your way back out again?
* Views: Look out for a Severn Valley Railway steam train in the distance!
* Garden tea room: serving homemade cake, freshly prepared food and speciality hot and cold drinks, plus Bennetts Farmhouse Luxury Ice Cream. Alternatively, take a picnic to enjoy on numerous picnic benches around the arboretum.
