Silverstone Festival, staged annually over the August Bank Holiday weekend (23-25 August) at the renowned Silverstone Circuit is an end-of-summer event not to be missed for motorsport enthusiasts and families alike. Showcasing the best of historic motor racing, from classic gems to modern Formula 1 powerhouses, the track will be alive with the roar of engines and the excitement of competitive racing.
Huge displays of much-loved cars, spanning the generations, provide the backdrop to the weekend, including an impressive line-up of classic and modern-day Formula 1 cars. Free funfair rides, high energy stunt shows, Food Fest with chef demos and Tasting Tent masterclasses during the day and live music on all three evenings add to the jam-packed Festival schedule. Silverstone Festival favourite, the dusk air balloon glow kicks off each evening. Sophie Ellis-Bextor tops the bill on the Main Stage on Friday, followed by Brit Award-winning Busted on Saturday and celebrated singer, songwriter and television personality, Olly Murs on Sunday.
