Severn Valley Railway Brick Weekend
Experience a fantastic weekend of LEGO-themed fun at The Engine House, hosted by the UK LEGO train club, LUKR. Showcasing incredible creations from hobbyists across the country – including some of the UK’s largest LEGO train layouts – this popular, fan-led event returns for its third year. With a strong railway theme, visitors can enjoy a wide range of detailed models, alongside additional displays, hands-on activities and trade stands. A great day out for LEGO enthusiasts of all ages.
Alongside the models, there’s so much to see, do and discover on a day out at the Severn Valley Railway, including FREE ENTRY to The Engine House Visitor Centre (open 10.45am – 4.30pm, last entry 4pm). Alight at Highley Station and then its just a short walk to The Engine House where you can get close to some very special locomotives, including ‘Gordon’ the blue engine, and take a peek through the windows of King George VI’s royal carriage. There’s an outdoor play area, café, gift shop and plenty to keep everyone occupied.
The trains stop at all of our intermediate stations, so you can get off to explore Bewdley, Arley, Highley and Hampton Loade. At Kidderminster and Bridgnorth, the trains take a short break, so you can see the locomotives up close.
