School Holiday Opening

Looking for something to do with the family in the school holidays? We’re open from Tuesday to Friday in the last week. Whilst we will try to provide most of our usual attractions, we won’t be running the motorbus tours and some buildings may only be open for limited periods.

Our usual attractions include a selection of trolleybuses to ride on,  Toy and Model Museum, The ‘Sunbeam’ Cycle Shop museum, 1950’s pre-fab home, The ‘Regal’ Lecture Theatre and Cinema and our open areas, including a nature trail.

The Museum also has a well-stocked shop and the Tea Trolley Café provides hot and cold sandwiches, light meals, cakes and drinks – all at reasonable prices.

We will provide most of our usual attractions. However:

• There may be only one trolleybus in service;
• We won’t be running any motorbus tours of the local area;
• The Cafe will be open from 10.30am to 3.00pm and be serving a menu of cold sandwiches, cake and drinks;
• Whilst we will be opening our other buildings and exhibitions, these may only be open for parts of the day.

Admission Charge: There will be no fixed admission charge – we’re asking you to pay what you feel or can afford.
