Santa at The Schoolroom
Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall has been transformed for the festive season, unveiling a stunning display of Christmas decorations to the exterior of the 600 year old Tudor building that stands in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon.
The black and white exterior of the timber-framed building is now beautifully adorned with elegant Christmas garlands. Swags of greenery, softly lit and finished off with red bows, follow the outline of the façade, with an illuminated wreath at the centre, creating a picture perfect scene that looks as though it belongs on a Christmas card.
Lindsey Armstrong, General Manager of Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall, says, “We are delighted with how our festive display looks. It adds a warm glow to Church Street and perfectly highlights our distinct Tudor architecture. It’s taken the team a lot of hard work, but the result captures the spirit of the season, and we hope it will bring a smile to the faces of our community and visitors.”
The decorations will remain in place throughout the Christmas holiday season, offering a charming backdrop for photographs and a memorable highlight for anyone exploring Stratford-upon-Avon this winter.
