Roald Dahl’s – Matilda Jr. The Musical shows that Rebellion is nigh at the Brookside Theatre This March!

This show is based upon the much loved Roald Dahl story with music from Tim Minchin.  This is a story of a girl who dreams of a much better life and the children she inspires along the way will have audiences rooting for the ‘revolting children’ who are out to the teach the grownups a lesson they won’t forget!

Matilda has such astonishing wit and intelligence… as well as special powers! She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey.
Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however – the school’s mean headmistress,
Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace!

This show is full of energy with dance numbers, catchy songs and a joyous girl power romp! The whole family will be thrilled and delighted by the story of this very special little girl with an extraordinary imagination and power.
