Award-winning storytelling company Unbound are embarking on the 2024 Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival with a brand-new production of one of the Bard’s most incendiary plays.
King Richard holds the throne of England, but opposition to his rule is mounting. When he banishes Henry Bolingbroke over a dispute with his ally Lord Mowbray, the exiled noble vows to take revenge. Soon he returns to England to raise an army, with his sights set firmly on challenging the divine right of kings…

Performance starts 1:30pm and will include a 20 minute interval.
This performance will be outside. You’re welcome to bring your own chair or picnic blankets to sit on to watch the performance. We will also have some folding chairs available for visitors to use.
This performance will be going ahead in the event of wet weather. We have a marquee up in our grounds that will provide some shelter to the audience.
The Museum cafe will be open throughout the performance.
