My Royal Chair Painting Workshop

My Royal Chair Painting Workshop

Step into the colourful world of Madhubani Art and join us for a delightful celebration of High Wycombe’s chair-making heritage at our Chair Festival!

This family-friendly event invites children and their families to unleash their creativity as they draw and paint their own Royal chairs on paper, using the intricate patterns and vibrant colours of Madhubani Art.

Guided by artist Harsha Basu, participants will dwell over the fascinating history of High Wycombe’s chair-making industry while exploring the unique techniques of this traditional Indian art form.

From whimsical designs to majestic motifs, each artwork will showcase the rich cultural heritage of Chair Town.
