Looking for ‘an ice’ way to spend a day? Life’s open-air ice rink returns this month!
· Situated in Times Square, just outside Life Science Centre, the rink is ideal for ice skaters of all abilities and ages.
· Planning a party? Get in touch if you’d like a quote for exclusive rink hire.
· Relaxed Skating Sessions, where lighting and noise levels will be adjusted for those with sensory needs, are available. Check the website for more information!
Membership discount applies. Separate admission fees apply 22-24 December. Closed 25-26 December and 1 January.

· Journey to the North Pole and explore the wonders of what Santa sees when he takes to the sky on Christmas Eve, in a NEW captivating planetarium show.
· Create your own unique Christmas tree decoration in The Making Studios.
· Turn forensic scientist to track down Secret Santa…CSI style.
· In our live science show, feel the warm glow of fire as it burns underwater and the chill of watching ice that makes water boil.

Explore the science centre with less noise and enjoy relaxed performances in our planetarium and Science Theatre. Lighting and sound levels will be altered where possible, to accommodate those with sensory needs. For example, hand-dryers in toilets will be turned off for the session.
· Ear defenders are available to hire from reception for both adults and children. (£10.00 refundable deposit. Subject to availability).
· Sensory bags are available to hire, which include ear defenders, sunglasses and a range of fidgets. (£20.00 refundable deposit. Subject to availability).
· Visual story and sensory map at reception on arrival.

Pre-school days provide the perfect opportunity for you and your little ones to try new things, make new friends and have lots of hands-on fun.
· Enjoy exciting activities that have been developed with children’s physical, cognitive and social skills in mind.
· Regular highlights include hands-on play in the Making Studios, a balancing path for adventurous walkers, and an immersive, child-friendly planetarium experience.
· Each session is different, so there’ll be new things to try each time you visit – from storytellers and crafters to artists and musicians – keep scrolling for details of specific events.
Try before you buy! If you upgrade to an annual membership on the day of your visit, we’ll deduct your admission price from the cost. A maximum of two free children are allowed per paying adult. If you wish to bring more than two children, more tickets must be purchased at £10.00 per ticket.
