Here’s what to expect on the day:
- Science on Stilts: Meet real women scientists on stilts from Circus 250 as they perform fun, high-flying experiments and show science from a whole new perspective.
- Planetarium Shows: Enjoy fascinating shows narrated or presented by women and focused on trailblazing female scientists.
- STEM Storytime – Look Up!: Join Rocket, a space-loving girl, in this interactive story with sounds, images, and objects, and explore the wonders of space.
- Skills Spotlight: Explore STEM with hands-on activities guided by inspiring women working in the field.
- Speakers’ Corner: Get inspired by women working in STEM as they share experiences, ideas, and the wonders of their field.
- Kitchen Science: Make fizzy volcanoes and discover the daring work of volcanologist Katia Krafft.
Bring your curiosity, creativity, and questions. This is a day to celebrate the power of women in STEM and inspire the next generation of innovators.
