Holiday Club by The World Outside
The World Outside Forest School, at Bodenham Arboretum is offering a ‘DROP OFF AND LEAVE’ Holiday Club, every Thursday in July and August.
Ages: 5 to 12 years, older siblings welcome.
Best suited for ages 6 to approx. 12 years – older children are welcome.
(Capable 5 years olds only due to the length of the day and activities involved)
Drop off at 8.45am and pick up at 3.30pm
Examples of activities include:
Fire lighting
Campfire cooking
Learning about nature
Mud modelling
Mud kitchen
Natural crafts
Den Building
Bushcraft
Basic Bows and Arrows
Bug hunting
Pond dipping
Stream Damming
Games
Singing
Jokes! – Usually bad ones!
Food included:
Mid-morning we get the fire lit and cook a campfire snack. These vary each week, with scrummy things, such as Toast, twists, Tortilla wraps, welsh cakes
Additionally, for those in receipt of free school meals, you can attend an additional holiday club with The World Outside Kindergarten at Baxter College, every week day in the school holidays.
