Halloween Fun at Groombridge Place
Come along to Groombridge Place near Tunbridge Wells for a whole lot of Halloween fun in the October half term.

Groombridge Place and Once Upon a Wish Events invite you to come along and take a magical journey around this beautiful country estate where you can meet some amazing Halloween characters.
We dare you to step into the ‘Witches Training Centre’ and meet Wanda and Gertrude the witches of Groombridge Place. Take part in the ‘Witch and Wizard School’ including Halloween experiments as you make your own bubble snake!
Take part in a ‘Pumpkin Hunt’ where you will find Cinders in her carriage.
Join the fun as you watch the ‘Pumpkins and Pixie Dust Show’ live from the Groombridge Place Barn.
Meet the rotten to the core duo and many more characters including ‘Spidey’ and the one and only ‘Maleficent’!
Join Wanda and Gertrude for a ‘Halloween Show’ live in Crusoe’s World which will be full of wizardry and wonder, including live songs and audience participation.
Join in the ‘Spooky Disco’ live from the barn including ‘Spooky Stilt Walkers’. The Magic star members will also be on hand to entertain your little pumpkins!
Save the date and round up your pumpkin squad this Halloween. The event will run daily from 22-30th October with entertainment running from 10-6 PM
Admission also includes all the amazing outdoor play areas which are just waiting to be explored including at Crusoe’s World which is a wonderful forest clearing just perfect for a pirate adventure with your friends. Climb up the wooden fort or pirate ship and run along the rope bridges in the tree canopy.
Follow the pathway through the Enchanted Forest which leads deep into the beautiful forest past water pools, huge oak trees and a large spiders web before entering Tepee Village with its wigwams, giant totem pole and wooden fort.
Walk to the very top of the forest to find the ‘Giant Tree Swings’ which are a favourite with visitors.
The popular ‘Canal Boat’ will be operating daily to take visitors on a spooky journey along the canal to Crusoe’s World. Fares £2.50 for adults and £2 for children.
The popular ‘Birds of Prey Shows’ will take place daily at 12 noon and 3.00 with a variety of impressive birds including owls, eagles, and falcons.
Look out for the splendid Peacocks which are often found in the renowned gardens which overlook the impressive historic moated manor house which was used in the 2002 film ‘Pride and Prejudice’ starring Keira Knightley.
Being surrounded by beautiful countryside, Groombridge Place is also a relaxing place to enjoy peace and quiet and observe all the wildlife which has made the Enchanted Forest home including a herd of wild Fallow Deer often seen grazing at the edge of the meadows.
A refreshment corner at Crusoe’s World offers freshly prepared BBQ food in addition to hot and cold drinks and snacks. Peacock café at admissions offers a choice of tasty freshly made lunches to order as well as ‘Peacocks Little Lunch Boxes’ for children at £5.95. There is also a gardening section with beautiful summer plants available to purchase for your own garden.

Why not take a steam train on the Spa Valley Railway from Tunbridge Wells or Eridge and hop off at Groombridge Station and take the short walk to Groombridge Place. Admission applies to both attractions.
