Halloween Family Spooky Tour (28 Oct)
Join our storyteller for an atmospheric spooky tour of Blakesley Hall.
Explore the Hall on a journey where you will find out all about Halloween traditions and stories! Collect your Halloween inspired sweet treat at the end of your tour to take home.
Why not come along in your best spooky costume to add to the Halloween fun?
Event Information
- Tours last 1 hour and will go upstairs. The ground floor of Blakesley Hall is accessible. However, the upper floors are accessed by stairs only (there is no lift). For more details, see accessibility information.
- Herb Garden Café and the grounds are open from 11am-4pm.
Halloween Kids’ Disco (29 Oct)
Celebrate Halloween and join DJ Sam at Blakesley Hall for a fun kids disco with music, fun and games!
Why not come dressed in your favourite spooky costume?!
Ticket includes a party lunchbox with sandwich, crisps, chocolate bar, fruit and a drink.
£8.50 per child. Adults do not need a ticket but must remain on site for the duration of the event.
Herb Garden Cafe will be open during each disco session.
Spooky Craft Thursday (2 Nov)
Join us in the Barn for Crafty Thursdays at Blakesley Hall! For our Halloween themed craft we’ll be making card Wizard lanterns to take away.
£2 per child. Booking advised as our craft activities are popular with families.
Arrive anytime between 11.30am – 3.30pm.
Blakesley Hall is open from 12.00noon to 4.00pm, with the last entrance to the Hall at 3.00pm. Admission charge to Blakesley Hall still applies and is not included in the Crafty Thursdays activity ticket.
The Herb Garden Café and grounds are free to enter and are open from 11.00am-4.00pm.
Pop-Up Planetarium (2 Nov)
Experience our amazing inflatable planetarium, joining us from Thinktank Science Museum!
Gaze at the stars and take a trip into space to learn all about the wonders of the solar system. Join us in The Gallery at the Visitor Centre for this exciting, immersive experience with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and join in.
Event Information
- Tickets are required for access to the planetarium shows. Booking is advised as tickets are limited.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult in the dome. It will get dark at times!
- Seating is on the floor with some cushions provided. If you require a chair please ask a member of staff.
- The planetarium is full accessible to wheelchair and mobility aid users, assistance will be provided.
- Each show is 45min long.
Ghost Hunting Academy (3 Nov)
Join us for a light hearted look at the paranormal with our family friendly tour.
Learn the techniques used by paranormal investigators and then take part in an investigation around Blakesley Hall.
Try using dowsing rods and other detection methods to detect the presence of spirits as we look around this atmospheric old house together. Will you earn your Ghost Hunting badge?
Event Information
- Suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years and accompanying adults. This experience is not suitable for adults not accompanying children.
- Spaces are limited, pre-booking is essential. Your ticket includes general entrance into Blakesley Hall so you can wander, explore and enjoy.
- The tour will continue for approximately 45min-1 hour and will include going upstairs. We don’t have a lift in Blakesley Hall, please see our accessibility information.
- The Herb Garden Café and the grounds are open from 11am to 4pm.
- Please wear warm clothing and sensible footwear, and Halloween costume is encouraged!
