May half term at Dudley Zoo
Love Your Zoo Week this May half term at Dudley Zoo & Castle
A fun-filled family day out packed with animals, history, activities and adventure. Families can discover more about the zoo’s 143 amazing species and learn about the important conservation projects supported around the world, while exploring the stunning 11th century Dudley Castle.
Children can follow a special heart trail around the zoo for the chance to win an animal adoption, enjoy crafts and colouring activities in the Discovery Centre, build sandcastles in ‘Ow Bin Ya Sands, and burn off energy in the adventure playgrounds — including the popular castle-themed play area.
There’s also plenty to see and do throughout the day, including an extended programme of animal talks and presentations featuring flamingos, tigers, giraffes, orangutans, lemurs, meerkats and more, plus the ever-popular Birds of Prey display and a fascinating ghost and castle history talk.
Families can also ride the chairlift soaring above the geladas or hop aboard the land train for even more animal spotting fun along the way.
Pre-booking online is recommended to save money and guarantee entry during the busy half-term holidays.
