Meet the 1930s Ice-cream seller and take part in our family-friendly crafts where you can learn how to transform a piece of paper into a delicious looking ice cream of your own.
See the popular historic sweets in the Black Country, learn about the boom of the sugar industry and the impact of rationing. Don’t forget to do the all-important taste test!
Mind those sweet tooths as there are no dentists about! Pop into our Edwardian chemist to discover terrible tales of teeth and what alternative they would have prescribed as toothpaste. Learn about the medicinal properties of herbs and spices, grown and cut from our very own gardens.
Stroll down to the canalside to find out how the flavours we know and love today arrived in Britain.
Help the boatman as there has been a muddle with the shipments and they need toidentify the spice and match it tothe country of origin.
