Half Term Activities at Weald Downland Museum

Half Term Activities at Weald Downland Museum

Step into a magical world of fairies and forest folk for Half Term Activities at Weald Downland Museum from Saturday 25th May to Sunday 2nd June.

Begin your mystical adventure with a Fairies and Forest Folk Trail. Wander through the Museum’s grounds and discover the secret dwellings of the fairies and the mysterious forest folk who call the Museum their home.

Returning on Tuesday 28th and Thursday 30th May is Knucker the Dragon Family Activities, which offers hands-on experiences for all the family. Children will delight in crafting their own fairy wands and peg doll forest folk at the Creation Station, learning about fairy folklore, and making eco-friendly seed bombs.

There will be storytelling and Kamishibai theatre adventures with the talented Dawn Nelson on Monday 27th, Wednesday 29th and Friday 31st. Set in Walderton House, families will be transported to a world where fairies dwell, dance and feast to learn their lore. Storytelling sessions will be held at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, and 2.30pm each day.

The magic continues with other activities and crafts across the week, perfect for hands-on learning and family fun.
