Bring your Dino-Mites to Ranger Training Base Camp where they will learn how to look after and control our wild dinosaurs, with the help our qualified Rangers. Register at Dinosaur Base Camp for your spot on this exciting Ranger Training activity, aprox. 20mins!

1st August: Spinosaurus Show, Story Time and Baby Dinos

Spinosaurus (12pm & 1pm)

With his distinctive spines and sharp teeth, he is extremely attractive to children and adults alike…. but don’t let his crocodile-like smile fool you! He is wild and quite unpredictable! Thankfully, he comes with a fully-qualified Dinosaur Ranger who keeps him on his best behaviour. Spence Spinosaurus is still very young and we aim to have him fully trained soon!

Storytime Adventures (4 story times,11.30am – 2pm)

Settle in for a Jurassic story with one of our Official Dinosaur Rangers! Listen as they read one of their favourite Dinosaur themed tales and share in the fun as they bring the words to life. Approx. 30 mins each set.

8th August: Brontosaurus and Dinosaur Hatchery

Brontosaurus (11.30am & 1pm)

The Brontosaurus is one of the most recognised of all the Dinosaurs and the sight of seeing our stunning prehistoric beast walking around, raising her beautiful long neck is a true wow-factor! Brontosaurus have the smallest brains of all the dinosaurs, so aren’t very intelligent. Our Rangers have yet to teach Emily a trick! However, she does have the biggest heart of them all, this is used to pump blood all the way up her long neck to her tiny brain.

Dinosaur Hatchery (5 walkthroughs,12pm – 2.10pm)

Welcome to The Hatchery, an adorable Baby Dinosaur Nursery! Meet (or just peek at!) adorable, sleepy Dinosaur hatchlings and learn how to care for Dinosaur Eggs at The Hatchery. The eccentric Doctor Bones introduces The Hatchery and cares for the nursery’s residents. Doctor Bones guides children around the Dinosaur cages and area where the eggs are insulated, teaching them how to care for the dinosaur eggs and babies. Approx. 20mins.

15th August: Brontosaurus and Dinosaur Hatchery

Raptor (11.30am & 1pm)

Don’t blink… Don’t breathe… and DEFINITELY don’t run! Hire a Raptor for a totally new Jurassic Dinosaur Experience! Ritchie the Raptor is mischievous, naughty and very fast on his feet! He has escaped his reins and is now prowling and growling around, ready to give a big toothy grin to anyone who dares approach!

Dinosaur Dig (11am – 3pm)

There are two T-Rex and two Sabre-Toothed Tiger fossils buried in the sand, and we need a group of budding palaeontologists to help us uncover them. Will you be able to discover them? The dinosaur dig will take a short break while the raptors are out hunting at 11.30 and 1pm.

22nd August: Dilophosaurus and Comedy Cavemen

Dilophosaurus (11.30am & 1pm)

Meet our enchanting Dilophosaurus and watch with amazement as its frill flares ready to attack! Don’t panic, there’s no need to worry about a venomous attack just yet, although she does have a strong spitting action and you might get wet if you step into the firing line!

Comedy Cavemen (3 shows 11.50am – 2pm)

This pair of nutty Neanderthals bring their caveman car, complete with stone age music and sound effects, ready to cause some cavemen chaos! Prepare to watch out for their “Ugs” and “Ahhs” as they prepare to pull prehistoric pranks and create mayhem. If you don’t know much about cavemen, you will after seeing this nutty act as they find out who’s got the biggest muscles, who invented the wheel and much more.

29th August: Stegosaurus and Dino Fossil Workshop

Stegosaurus (11.30am & 1pm)

Meet Meg – a life-sized animatronic dinosaur with iconic back plates that change colour to match her mood. Meg is a gentle giant from the Late Jurassic period, easily recognised by her iconic spiked tail and that incredible back-plate display. While the real Stegosaurus was all about defence and dino drama, Meg is here to entertain, educate, and enchant.

Dino Fossil Workshop (11am – 3pm)

The Dino Fossil Workshops feature interactive, hands-on sessions illustrated with a fascinating collection of dinosaur items. Children get an opportunity to study replica and genuine dinosaur fossils at close quarters, while learning from and asking questions to our expert Coordinator.

Our Dino activities are suitable for most ages. Children must be supervised at all times. Dino Hunt sheets can be collected from the event team in the atrium. Standard Resorts World parking charges apply.
