Fossil Handling Workshop

Explore real fossils and excavate your very own to take home!

With a brilliant and informative presentation created for children by children.

Cost: £8 per child. All materials will be provided. This workshop is designed to suit all ages and all skill levels.

Touch and hold real fossils (some found locally), learn more and dig out your own REAL fossil to take home and show your friends.

An adult must be present with your child  AT ALL TIMES.

If this is full, we still would love to see you! Our family-friendly events book up quickly – but we always offer a warm welcome to families. All day, every day, there are plenty of opportunities for your children to play, explore and have fun.  And it’s FREE!! There are trails for them to enjoy, and our team is full of ideas to keep them engaged and entertained.

We have our Family Creative Space, with craft zone – you can add your handprint to our Broadway Community Tree. Our Family Play Space has toys for the little ones to enjoy, providing a great space for them to play and have fun – and you can relax! We also have our Sensory Space for you to enjoy – perfect for all, including those with SEN.
