Festival Of Nature

Festival Of Nature

Join us for a fun filled charity event for the whole family, aimed at engaging local people with nature.

Set in the beautiful Box hill Estate, Juniper Hall Field Centre has spent the last 85 years promoting the biodiverse environment of our local area. Our work aims to engage and educate people of all ages to hopefully ensure this ecologically significant area remains for future generations.

The festival of Nature will be a day full of nature immersive activities such as pond dipping, small mammal trapping, mini-beast hunts, bush craft, natural crafts and more. Nature inspired and natural history interest groups will also be attending with a range of stalls and talks planned throughout the day. So whether you have an interest in bees and butterflies, like nature inspired artwork and jewellery or are just looking for a fun day out for the whole family, this is the event for you!

The Juniper Hall Team will be providing a BBQ and refreshments including our famous homemade cakes to keep all the nature enthusiasts well fed.

Funds raised from this event will go to the Field Studies Council’s Grants for Schools fund, which will be used to provide outdoor learning experiences to disadvantaged young people.
