Easter Fun at the Farm
Hop, skip and jump along to the farm during the Easter holidays (Saturday 23 March to Sunday 7 April) for lots of Easter fun in the spring sunshine!
Join animal experts in the Discovery Barn in Newham Grange Farm and find out fun facts about some of the farm ‘smallest animals.
Guinea pig talks and petting sessions will be taking place every day at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Rabbit talks and handling sessions are also happening every day at 11.30am, 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
And for the ultimate Easter experience – have a go at bottle feeding the adorable baby lambs!
Grab a stool and get comfy as the lambs are brought to you to feed from your lap. Feeding sessions are taking place every day over the Easter holidays at 12pm and 4pm.
Can you help us find Daisy and Dan’s friends who’ve got lost around the farm? Find all ten bunnies to win a sweet treat.
The Friends of Fairy Dell are also heading along for Bug Hotel Talks on Easter Monday between 10am – 2pm. Wander around the Woodland Walk and listen to bug experts tell you about the insects and wildlife that live among the trees and wooded areas of the farm. You could even help improve the bug hotels and make a difference to their natural habitat.
Arts and crafts will be happening all day in the Education Centre – get crafty and create colourful Easter themed paper baskets that are perfect for carrying toy chicks and mini eggs!
And finally, the farm’s mascots Daisy and Dan will be making special appearances over the holidays so make sure you stop for a photo.
