Dance City Summer Camps, Newcastle
There are two Summer Camps available for children aged between 5-14 years old.
Monday 7 – Friday 11 August (Dance Around the World theme), Monday 14 – Friday 18 August (Best of the West End theme)
Both Summer Camps have a performance on the last day where the children get to perform their dance and showcase all their hard work!
Dance camps take place in the beautiful Dance City venue in Newcastle. The teaching staff are all dance artists who will support your child to have the best experience – growing in dance skills and in confidence and social skills too. All levels and abilities are welcome at our dance camps. At the beginning of each Dance Camp, our expert dance teaching team sorts children into age and skill-appropriate groups. Each group is then taken through a range of activities and classes taught by our professional dance staff that are tailored to their skill level. The camp culminates in a spectacular performance for family and friends, where the children show off their newfound skills.
General Information Timings: Dance Camps start at 9.00am and run until 5.00pm every day. There is a morning break, a lunchtime hour, and a break in the afternoon. Drop off is permitted between 8.30am and 9am, and collection between 5pm and 5.30pm.
