Chinese New Year Festival In Romford is being brought to you by Romford BID.
On Saturday 10th February 2024 from 12pm to 4pm.
Romford will be celebrating Chinese New Year with a range of FREE activity and entertainment in the town centre for local families to enjoy.
To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, Romford BID has planned several thrilling performances. This will include two traditional Chinese Lion Performers, A Full Size Spectacular Dragon,
and show-stopping traditional dolly head. There will also be stilt walkers to entertain visitors to the town from start to finish.
There will also be delicious Chinese food and samples on offer plus live music and drumming performances to entertain visitors throughout the day.
Children will also be able to be transformed by one of the fantastic face painters.
The events will take place at the South Street end of Romford Market (near Lloyds Bank) and will be completely free and open to everyone to enjoy – no tickets or pre-booking is required.
