Blues & Twos Weekend
“Blues & Twos” refers to the flashing lights and two-tone sirens of police cars, ambulances and fire engines. This is always a popular family event so come and see displays of retired emergency vehicles with demonstrations of fire and rescue techniques. We’ll also have all our usual attractions.
Our usual attractions include a selection of trolleybuses to ride on, Toy and Model Museum, The ‘Sunbeam’ Cycle Shop museum, 1950’s pre-fab home, The ‘Regal’ Lecture Theatre and Cinema and our open areas, including a nature trail.
The Museum also has a well-stocked shop and the Tea Trolley Café provides hot and cold sandwiches, light meals, cakes and drinks – all at reasonable prices.
