Bloom – Creative Play at The Hullabaloo, Darlington

Bloom is our brand-new garden-like play space that invites little ones to explore, adventure, and grow vibrant ideas together with their grown-ups.

Lounge and snuggle, roll, and dance, play and discover in this enchanting space where ideas can germinate, curiosity will grow new shoots and young minds develop as creativity blooms.

Made with the children and educators at Borough Road Nursery together with Theatre Hullabaloo artists and researchers, this creative play space has been shaped through research into how children and adults want to be together in creative spaces. It’s designed as a gentle restorative space for babies, children, and adults alike and has been particularly enjoyed by the SEND children at the nursery.

This is a FREE activity for 0–10-year-olds and there is no need to book, donations welcome. 

The Hullabaloo is open Monday – Saturday, 10am – 2pm. Enjoy coffee and cake or lunch at our Café Hullabaloo while you are there and enjoy fun activities and books in our story corner.
