A Tour of the Ercol Factory

Ercol’s Chairman, Henry Tadros, will give a tour of the ercol factory in Princes Risborough to celebrate the Chiltern Chairs Festival. Due to manufacturing constraints the factory is not open to the public so it is a rare opportunity to see inside the 16,000sqm factory. Henry Tadros, Lucian Ercolanis great-grandson, will tour the group throughout the factory looking at machining, steam bending, assembling and finishing of the classic ercol designs.

The tour will take approximately 2 hours.

For adults. Unfortunately no children (under 16) are allowed in the factory.

Accessibility info: While the factory floor is accessible the nature of a tour around the factory means there is a fair amount of walking.

Facilities info: Toilets available, with coffee and tea available on arrival.

This tour is happening on Thursdays 11 & 18 July.
