Meet Alex, the editor for Leicester

Meet Alex, your Raring2go! Leicester editor

Local mum, magazine editor, creative and champion of all things family-friendly.

After launching Raring2go! Leicester in 2025, it’s been a brilliant first year getting to know more local businesses, discovering fantastic family-friendly places and helping Leicester families find their next great day out!

As a Mum myself, I know how extremely busy family life is and how many million things we all have to remember on a daily basis. My aim is to make Raring2go! Leicester a one-stop shop for local families looking for inspiration on where to go and what to do, find trusted local businesses and in such, build an amazing local community.

Every quarter, I distribute 10,000 free high-quality A5 magazines through primary schools, community venues and libraries across Leicester and the surrounding villages. Want the latest family inspiration delivered to your Inbox once a month? Sign up here!

Interested in working together? Whether you’re looking to reach more local parents, fill spaces in your classes, promote an upcoming event or raise awareness of your business I’ve love to hear from you.

As a graphic designer by background, I can also help bring your advertising to life with creative artwork that gets your business noticed. From magazine advertising to website features and other opportunities, there are many different ways we can work together to reach local families.
