Primary School Open Days in Leicester & Leicestershire

All the primary open mornings, tours and open evenings I’ve tracked down so far for children starting Reception in September 2027. The list covers state, faith and independent schools in and around Leicester.

It isn’t a complete list. Lots of schools don’t publish fixed dates and prefer you to phone and book a tour. So if your school isn’t here, call the office, they’ll be glad to show you round. Please always double-check times and booking details with the school before you set off, as details can shift.

Key dates to remember

Starting school in September 2027? Applications are open now through your home council. You must apply by Friday 15 January 2027. Offers land on National Offer Day, Friday 16 April 2027.
