A Summer to Enjoy at Tilgate Park and Zoo

This summer marks a special milestone for Tilgate Park, celebrating 60 years since Crawley Borough Council first began transforming it into the much-loved green space it is today. Whether you are enjoying a picnic, strolling around the lake or joining in with one of the many activities on offer, Tilgate Park remains a perfect place to relax, explore and make lasting memories.

A visit to Tilgate Park would not be complete without Tilgate Zoo, a firm family favourite. This spring, two new lemurs, Tsara and Tsiki, joined the troop and have already become stars during daily keeper feeds. The zoo also offers memorable animal encounters, giving guests the chance to get up close with species such as capybara, meerkats and armadillos.

Open daily from 10am to 6pm and home to over 100 animals, Tilgate Zoo is the perfect addition to a summer day out in the heart of Crawley.
