Review- Peppa Pig’s Big Family Show
We had a magical time watching Peppa and family at The Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham.
At the beginning of the show we were greeted by Daisy who told us what was going to happen on her play date with Peppa. Daisys play date included decorating the house with Peppa and George helping, or at least trying to! They were decorating as the family were expecting a new arrival as Mommy Pig was pregnant!
Who doesn’t love a sing along and a stomp when having fun decorating, the gang absolutely loved it and so did the audience who were on their feet joining in.
Daddy Pig got a new car as his family was getting bigger and Mommy Pig, Daisy, Peppa and George had lots of fun testing it out. So much fun was being had that Mommy Pig decided it was time to try it out with a test drive to the hospital!
Hooray a new baby girl was born and her name is Evie, the audience loved seeing the new addition to the family and her laugh was adorable.
Of course more singing and dancing was had by all as they headed out to the park for Evie’s first trip out and she loved it . But watch out for the rain especially if you’re near the front with little ones who might not quite understand why it’s raining inside?!
After a day at the park it’s home for Evies bubble bath and everyone got to enjoy the bubbles too!
This show is perfect for children who love all things Peppa Pig, the songs were fab, the dancing was fun and Daisy was a great lead on stage and kept the audience engaged. Her voice was perfection, it was really animated and kept the children entertained.
I also want to give a shout out to the staff who were very helpful with my friend who was in her wheel chair, they couldn’t do enough and checked in on us several times to make sure we were comfortable. The side doors are easily accessible for wheel chair users and there is a disabled toilet too.
Get your tickets HERE for the show on 17th June. Times at 10am, 1pm and 4pm .
