Review-Peppa Pig Space Adventure at the NEC
We had the most wonderful morning at the Peppa Pig Space Adventure at the NEC
As we arrived on the NEC site we excitedly looked out for the sign posts for parking for Peppa Pig which was easily done and made our way to the allocated area. Having arrived a bit early we got a coffee and played in the new family friendly play park located near the lakeside area next to Resorts World. There were swings, slides, climbing frames and a big tv screen that was playing CBeebies shows, which was fab as you could have a little chill after all the playing . Located on the play equipment was a map that the children could have fun with searching for clues. Plus lots of picnic benches for everyone to sit at for snack time! There were also food trucks selling drinks, snacks with lots of variety.
We were having so much fun we nearly forgot about Peppa , so we made our way over to the entrance where we was scanned in with a warm welcome. We entered to a cool, bright and relaxing holding area where there were toilets, buggy parking and seating. Then it was time to line up and start our adventure.
We were met by two lovely assistants who spoke to the children and explained that they were our guides for our exciting exploration. My granddaughter was very excited as we all walked into Peppa’s house, we explored all the rooms that included the front room, kitchen and bedrooms, each room was exactly as it was on the TV! Each area had sensory and craft activities that kept the children thoroughly entertained. The two assistants went around talking to the children and making sure everyone was ok which was very reassuring especially for some of the little ones.
I must confess I thought that was it as we were having so much fun that we forgot about space but we were then lead through another door into the launch room – amazing! There was so much to see, do, touch, jump, play and ride on that we didn’t quite know where to begin but we soon got stuck in and we all had so much fun, my granddaughter loved playing with her mom, Nanna, Granddad and her Auntie. It was so nice to switch off and just enjoy all the children having fun and we all loved playing too.
Blast off! We’re heading to the moon and we land in another room which again is literally out of this world and we’re in sensory heaven yet again! The children can climb, bounce, move shapes, run and ride on bouncers. It was so lovely watching all the children having fun and in awe of all the things that they could do! We were all having so much fun that we didnt want to leave but meeting Peppa at the end made it a much easier ending to what was a most magical morning.
I cannot recommend this experience enough as we all thoroughly enjoyed it and we will be going back very soon as it was super morning out which was perfect for making those family memories!
My Granddaughters favourite word to sum up our day at Peppa Pig Space Adventure was AMAZING!
