Storytime with Santa at Thinktank
Step into the magic of the season at Santa’s Grotto at Thinktank Science Museum, where little ones are welcomed into a cosy, festive setting to meet Santa himself.
Weekends and Christmas Holidays from 29th November – 23rd December
Children will gather around to enjoy a heartwarming Christmas story read by Santa, before heading to Santa’s workshop for a hands-on craft activity.
While families get creative, each child will be invited to meet Santa personally to receive a special gift and with a chance for parents to take a photo to remember the day.
This 45-minute experience is filled with festive cheer, creativity, and memorable moments, making it the perfect way to celebrate the season together.
Each ticket includes a festive storytime session, a special gift for every child, and the opportunity for a photo with Santa.

Good to know
- Tickets to see Santa is an additional charge, priced at £6.50 per child
- Each child must be accompanied by an adult, no charge for accompanying adults.
- All visitors must also hold a valid ticket to Thinktank for the same day.
- Babies in arms (under 12 months) do not require a ticket if they are accompanying another paying child unless you would like them to have the full Santa experience with a gift.
- The Grotto is located in the Thinktank Theatre on Level 3.
- Event takes places at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on weekends and Christmas holidays from 29th November – 23rd December.
