Join us on a magical sound adventure this Christmas at Standen. This is a specially created immersive audio trail for all the family, where you search for Father Christmas in the land of Betwixtmass. Presented by Spun Glass Theatre, discover puppet creatures, Christmas elves, faeries, and tree-dwelling critters as they whizz past your ears. See Father Christmas in the Woodland Den and listen while he tells you a story. Unlock an imaginative world and discover the Snooflets, puppet creatures who share stories, along the way.
How does it work?
Once you have your ticket, you can access Spun Glass Theatre’s magical world of Betwixtmass. You’ll be sent links for digital videos, stories to tell you more, and a backstory to a special character, which you can choose in advance of your visit. Before your arrival time, you’ll be given instructions on downloading the free Echoes XYZ app which will guide you along the trail. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by a Christmas goblin and given a map to start your special sound adventure. You’ll be using your own smart device and headphones to explore Betwixtmass, triggering different stories and sound experiences along the way. Tickets include a present for all 0-12 year olds.
