Wacky Wednesday Taster Day

Join our special Wacky Wednesday Taster Day and play and learn with your preschoolers, free of charge!

For this session we are looking at all things seaside – and what miners did on their holidays!

Join us as we explore one of our fun weekly themes through interactive storytelling, activities, singing and crafts.

Wacky Wednesday is a shared experience perfect for pre-school children and their carers and includes opportunities to take a close look at different themes from the museum which they can relate to their own lives.

Wacky Wednesday is exclusively for children under 5 years old. Booking is essential to guarantee your child’s place. Adults do not need to pre-book their place. Please note all children must be accompanied by a maximum of 2 adults.

Times- 10.15am-11am and 11.30am-12.15pm

Location- Learning Space – The Hub.

After Wacky Wednesday you can explore our Little Diggers soft play area, find the rabbit in Parkinson’s Yard, tunnel in the Technology Gallery or visit our Victorian Gallery. Watch out for the cute canaries, the ponies in our discovery centre and if you are ready for a ‘pitstop’ there’s Caphouse Cafe with our Mini Miners Lunch bags or visit the adventure play area and bring a picnic.
