Happy Half Term at Resorts World
Marking Children’s Mental Health Week earlier in February, Happy Half Term events at Resorts World Birmingham will aim to inspire and engage children, boosting happiness and confidence with new skills and new connections.
Sensory Activities with Wild Earth Movement
Between 20th-22nd Feb, Wild Earth Movement will be hosting free sensory activities for children* in our atrium between 11am and 4pm where children and young teens can create and relax using natural pigments and eco tools.
Throughout the day expect powerful essential oils, calming workshops and mindful art. Using only natural, recycled and repurposed materials, Wild Earth Movement will guide them through the most beautiful activities focusing on sustainability and well-being. There will be lots of making, modelling and relaxation and children will be able to play independently or as part of a group. Guided workshops on Hapa-zome**, blind and rhythm drawing will take place at various times throughout the day and they’ll be given mindfulness sheets to bring home.
* Colour, scent and touch-based activities are suitable for children aged 4+, child supervision required at all times.
