- Christmas holiday: Monday 22 December 2025 to Friday 2 January 2026
Spring term 2026
- Starts: Monday 5 January 2026

School induction dates
There will be a single induction date for the whole of Warwickshire:
- 2026 – Wednesday 8 July
- 2027 – Wednesday 7 July
If your child is to attend a primary or secondary school in a different local authority area, an academy or an independent school, their new school may have a different induction date.
Teacher training days
Most schools in Warwickshire have five inset days during the year for teacher training. Warwickshire County Council set two of these teacher training days per year:
- 2025/26 – 1 September 2025 and 20 July 2026
- 2026/7 – 1 September 2026 and 4 January 2027
Individual schools can set three more days for each year.
Academies and free schools set their own teaching training dates throughout the year.
