Review The Owl who came for Christmas

What a lovely morning we had watching The Owl who came for Christmas at Mac Midlands Arts Centre in Cannon Hill Park. It was the first time I took my granddaughter to the mac and it was her very first Christmas show and …….she loved it! She was mesmerized by the  actors who played a Reindeer, a Fox, a Squirrel and of course an Owl! She was in awe as they ran around the stage singing lovely catchy songs that we could join in and sing, which we all did and when they asked the crowd to join in to help them wake up Rosie the Owl- we all shouted with delight. The children in the audience could even help feed Rosie a worm which was met with lots of laughter and fun. The staging was amazing as it transferred to each scene effortlessly and made the story even more fun. The actors were superb as they changed characters back and forth with such ease, it was so seamless. Experience the joy and wonder as Lily, Ethan, Mum and Dad discover their unexpected visitor and try to help Rosie find her way home.

If you want that warm, Christmas fun feels with your little ones and you want a lovely story of friendship, Christmas spirit and the importance of home then head to the Mac Birmingham for a magical time.
