New principle at Razzamataz South Lakes

Welcome to Chaneen Brag, the new principle of Razzamataz South Lakes!

For the past eight years, I’ve been a proud Razzamataz mum, cheering from the audience as my daughter found confidence, creativity, and pure joy on stage. What started as a Saturday routine in West Cumbria quickly became a family passion, which followed us on our move to Penrith in 2020 as we joined Razzamataz South Lakes.

After also introducing my new baby boy to the Razz Early Years classes and seeing the incredible difference it made for him — especially after being born during a time of isolation, where his social skills and confidence around others needed a boost — it wasn’t long before I swapped my mum hat for a teacher’s, sharing my love of performing arts with incredible young talent every week.

Now, I’m more than thrilled to announce that from July 18th 2025, I’ll be stepping up as the new Principal of Razzamataz South Lakes. With over 30 years in performing arts and a background in education, I know first hand the magic that happens when kids are given a stage to shine. I can’t wait to continue the amazing work of our school, creating a space where every child can dance, sing, act, and grow with confidence. The next chapter is here, and I couldn’t be more excited!
