Review of 25 Years of Lord Of The Dance at The Alexandra in Birmingham

Lord Of The Dance At The Alexandra In Birmingham

I’ve seen a few performances of River dance and Michael Flatley on various TV shows over the years, never a live performance and I must admit i didn’t see what all the fuss was about?!

That was until I watched it live last night at The Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham- WOW WOW WOW!                                                                                              We were blown away by the high intensity, the drama, the dancing duels, the light and shade of the story. We were mesmerized from the first tap to the last. The cast were all superb and their athletic ability to get around the stage was incredible plus they included you in their performance as they wanted you to have a good time with them. And we certainly did!

If like me you’ve not seen a show live before, book your tickets now, you won’t be disappointed and you’ll come out of the theatre feeling quite euphoric as did all the crowd after the show. I met quite a few people at the train station all with their programmes and everyone of them said it was one of the best shows they’ve seen for a very long time!

The show is only on until Sunday 19th June, so be quick!
