The Aqua Park is an inflatable obstacle course on the lake that includes a variety of challenging elements for participants to enjoy.
- The session lasts for one hour.
- You must arrive 45 minutes before your session starts for the safety briefing.
- Book online for £15.00 per person, £20.00 per person if you book at reception.
- Ticket price includes a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet.

If you miss the safety briefing you will be unable to go onto the Aqua Park, if a later session has space we may be able to get you on that but there is no guarantee.
Please feel free to bring a picnic with you on the day and enjoy our park and the activities we have to offer.
Allerthorpe Watersports Activity Centre
For a fun family day out visit our water-sports activity centre.
Everyday activities on the main lake include pedalos, kayaks, paddleboarding and canoes which are suitable for a range of ages, no experience is required and safety equipment is provided.
If you would like to learn to sail we offer taster sessions and courses with our qualified instructors.
The younger children can join mum and dad on the water, visit the play-park or explore the many footpaths surrounding the lakes.
The Lakeside Cafe
The Lakeside Café serves delicious breakfasts, lunches, cakes and scones which are home-made on the premises; much of our ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible.
Speciality tea and coffee can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on the decking over looking the lake.
If you really want to experience the great outdoors then jumping in the car with a tent and pitching up is a fantastic way to do it. With the lake so close and the beautiful countryside of the Wolds only a 15 minute drive away here at Allerthorpe you can really experience the outdoors.
Tents pitches are within the main site near to the amenities and a separate tent only field with lots of space next to our 3rd lake (fenced off) which is along a short lane from the main lake and facilities for those who prefer to be in away from it all and if the main site is full. Electric hookups are available in this.
Full access to the 53 acres of lakeside and woodland walks. No additional entrance charges. Swimming in the lake is not permitted unless in the open water swimming session and children must be supervised at all times in the cordoned off shallow area during the summer months.
Local public houses are The Plough Inn at Allerthorpe and the Melbourne Arms in Melbourne which are within short driving distance.
Plenty of local walks off site and places to visit in the local wolds town of Pocklington including the canals and Burnby Hall gardens. We stock plenty of free local visitor guides and leaflets on reception.
No minimum stay. Please note, the campsite is very busy during 3 annual Triathlon events, please check dates on our events page. Participants do need to book in advance.
