Worthing Churches Homeless Projects
There are over 500 homeless in the Worthing area in any one year and numbers are increasing. Worthing Churches Homeless Projects (WCHP) provides points of contact, food, facilities (washing, laundering, clothing), accommodation and support for the single homeless. The organisation is the result of an initiative by churches of all denominations, originally providing a soup and sandwiches service to rough-sleepers back in 1991. Since then it has grown and is recognised as the primary provider in the area meeting the needs of the homeless. Breakfasts, the only meal of the day for many, is produced at St Clare's Day Centre where contact is also made with the WCHP Community Link Team.

Sarah from Xercise4Less gives Raring2go! some great ideas for family fun to keep fit and healthy. Don't get stuck indoors just because it is winter. Dark mornings, cold blustery evenings and it seems we would all rather reach for our duvet than even contemplate heading outdoors to get active! Remember it’s only cold when you’re standing still…
