Create - Produce - Perform
Page2Stage is always looking for new members for our ever growing team.
So if you like having fun, being creative, performing and making friends, read on and if you like what you see give us a shout!
Although Page2stage is a creative youth theatre we are not just a ‘drama club’ our group is about raising students confidence and self belief through a learning process that encompasses all elements of the arts, with a slightly stronger focus on drama.
In the past we have looked at a range of different genres and has incorporated filmmaking, dancing, singing and improvised theatre in our performances as well as scriptwriting. The primary aim of the group is to provide a safe environment which allows the students to grow as individuals and gain confidence in themselves through the arts.

Our method of confidence building is generally based around creating a theatrical production. We perform at least 3 times a year (generally termly) and base each piece around a theme. We work together to create a storyline for a show as a group and this takes place in a workshop environment. The script is then written by the lead tutor and director for the group. Our previous scripts do encourage the students to think carefully about the storytelling process and asks them to research different areas such as costume, historical facts, set design as part of the collaborative process.
The policy of Page2stage is that nobody is pushed into anything that they are not ready for and to allow their confidence to grow at a speed that is right for themselves. There are opportunities for people to also work back stage and learn from the process as well.
