The Ashend House farm is opening again on Saturday 20th June. It’s pre-book only

Hurrah! The farm is opening again on Saturday 20th June. It’s pre-book only, but WE’RE BACK!! (Link to book at the bottom)
Sorry, but for now, the play barn is closed so combi-tickets aren’t available. But, fingers crossed that it won’t be long!
Following advice from our local health officers we’ve organised the farm to be a one way trail, taking you round all the animals and providing lots of fun along the way.
We’ve taken into account concerns and rules about social distancing and are working hard to make this a safe experience for our customers and staff. If you’ve been before, please understand that at least for the short-term we have to do things differently but as government guidance changes and lockdown relaxes we’ll adapt to make your experience as rewarding as ever.
Here’s the key changes for opening …
Pre-booked entry slots only … to avoid queuing and to control the flow of people onto the farm, we are staggering entry. You book a unique slot for your family or social group to enter and arrive for that time. That slot is just for you so please be on time so that we don’t fall out of sync.
Online booking, cashless entry only. You must book and pay in full for your group online before 8am of the day of your visit. If your numbers unexpectedly change , that’s fine as long as you stay within the allowed 6 maximum. You can pay for extra within that maximum on arrival (card only). Any reduction or cancellations need to be discussed via messenger or email as our entry staff need to focus on getting people onto the farm in a seamless manner. But we’re always ready to chat on messenger to help if things change for you.
Some attractions and many of the staff-led interactions are postponed for now. We’ve been advised when and where we should change things to ensure social distancing. Please bear with us as these things are completely out of our control . As we are allowed to do more, we will. In recognition of these changes, we are giving all children a £2 souvenir voucher to spend in the shop, providing a nice treat at the end of your visit. While public playgrounds are closed we are obliged to keep our play areas closed at the moment …sorry!
Play Barn Members: Memberships remain frozen and therefore discounts don’t apply. If you really do want to use your discount then you’ll need to discuss with us in advance by messaging on facebook. We’d have to unfreeze your membership from that point forward so please be sure that’s what you want to do as the play barn won’t be open yet.
Babies: Under 1s come in free, but if your child is near 12 months and may appear to be older to our staff, then please bring proof of DOB in case we ask. We are sorry to ask for that but unfortunately we do have instances when much older toddlers are declared as free-entry babies … a photo of DOB on a birth certificate or red medical book clears that up straight away.
Carers: We’ve always allowed one carer in for free alongside a disabled child or adult visitor. Our booking system can’t offer this discount so please private message us on facebook so that we can advise further.
